Description

See attachment.

I also tried:

  • Removing the second UID.
  • Removing the first UID which has a comment.
  • Verifying something signed by myself.

and the result was the same so this is probably related to using subkeys.

If this gets fixed we should update again the doc (f714549).

I had vague hopes that the fixes brought by seahorse 3.20.0-3.1 might fix this, but they don't.

Next steps:

  1. reproduce using seahorse-tool by hand
  2. try with a newer seahorse-nautilus that has some fixes
  3. report the bug to seahorse-nautilus upstream (GNOME bugzilla)

This might be relevant for this part of the Foundations Team's job:

* if time allows, do whatever code task the project sees as
top-priority, such as fixing Holes in the Roof, important bugs, or
implementing a feature that is needed to keep Tails relevant.

But I lack visibility to judge whether it's the case, and I'm already way overtime after 2 months of this quarter on my (volunteer) F.T. work.

What about a year later? Could this be worked on as part of FT?

We have no process to determine whether that's the case so for now we're mostly ignoring this item of our mission and focussing on the other parts, except in obvious cases (which this one is not since it's about OpenPGP which is a corner case). I'll raise this orga problem at the summit.
